What a great singer. Probably in my top five of women singers. And right now this woman is breaking my heart. I'm listening to her Anthology album, and I Still Miss Someone (Johnny Cash cover) is playing at the moment.

didnt she play with neil young on his conan appearance, she sounded good dont know any of her stuff tho

Yeah, I think she did. Unfortunately, I missed his Conan appearances. :( I would suggest picking up her Anthology: Warner/Reprise Years album. Or maybe her newest Red Dirt Girl if you don't want an essentials type album.

I think it would be great to see her live. I'm sure she doesn't charge much either.

Never listened to her much, but I've seen her on the Down From the Mountain Tour which was for the soundtrack for O' Brother Where Art Though. I would have to go with Alison Krauss as my favorite female voice who was on the same tour.

after hearing Leavin' Louisiana in the Broad Daylight on XM Outlaw Country a few weeks back, i've been listening to Quarter Moon in a Ten Cent town a lot lately. surely this gal has one of the most amazing voices ever in country\americana music.

love the live version of Guy Clark's "New Cut Road" on this album. check it out people.
