Never listened. Where should I start? I love ambient stuff and post rock, but I've never tried Eno.
Have you heard For Your Pleasure? That'll introduce you to his production. Then I guess try Here Come the Warm Jets or Another Green World, or Apollo or Ambient 1 if you want some ambient stuff.
Yeah, I have that Roxy Music album. It's pretty cool, but I need to listen more.

So after listening to quite a few Eno albums, it's safe to say I really like him. His ambient stuff is my favorite, especially Music for Airports, Discreet Music, and Apollo, but it's all pretty damn good. I need to listen to the his pop albums more and the stuff he did with David Byrne and Robert Fripp, but I'm really glad I looked into him.

I'm on the opposite end of you. I lurve his pop stuff but haven't heard too much of the ambient material.

This is great. Just sampling a whole bunch of Eno's work.
Currently listening to Here Come the Warm Jets (1974). "On Some Faraway Beach" and "Dead Finks Don't Talk" are present favourites though the entire album is really a rich listening experience.
Seeing as how I am a big fan of Ween, there is much in Eno's "pop" work that reminds me of them.
This is one of the best feelings in the world: finding a new artist that you like and knowing that you have a whole body of work to hear for the first time.
More to come...
