Why would you get drunk to go to a show? It seems like it'd just ruin everything.

if you only go to 2 or 3 shows a year, I can see how they might be a big deal and maybe you wouldn't want to get drunk at them

I go to shows weekly. Don't really see what that has to do with anything.

Ideally before/during I show I will get high and have a few drinks. Just makes it even more enjoyable. Getting really drunk would just ruin it though.

Well, if I'm going to see Pearl Jam and Metallica and Ozzy and those are the 4 shows I'll see in a year, those are the ones i'll want to be special and probably remember all of them.

If I go see Galgamex and Watain and TimeCopz and White Lung and Titus Andronicus in the space of 2 weeks I probably won't care if I got really slaughtered at a few of those shows and can't remember the set list. Make sense at all?

I guess that just doesn't appeal to me. I really like live music and am usually really interested in what's going on onstage.
A big part of the shows I go to just aren't very conducive to drunken shenanigans. I feel like it'd just be obnoxious and disrespectful to the performer if I'm shitfaced and yelling out requests like a jackass.

I'll get drunk after the show if i want to, but not during the show. I hate it, and being drunk in public is lame. If I'm going to a show, i'm going to a show, if i want to get drunk i do something else.

Whats the point in travelling to a different country to see your favourite band and getting drunk and not remembering a thing?

its hard for me to get drunk at a show. i guess because most of the time I see them at big fests where i'm walking around and sweating a lot.

the only time i've seen live music not sober is at weddings.
