I was at a Who website, and it has an address where "diehard Who fans can write to Pete." I've also heard him mention many times that fans write to him, so I was wondering.

No, no not random. It's quite calculated at the moment.
You're thinking about writing?

I might. Would you? I mean I don't plan on saying anything stupid.
I might, if I felt like I had something of some importance to say. Which I guess I could. What's the link?

You're welcome.

Yeah, it's one thing to write if you have a reason but another just for the sake of it.

I'm not totally sure either. I would have to think about it and decide if I really want to write him. I'm sure I would be much more intelligent writing to him then if I met him in person in which case I would stupidly stutter over every idiotic word coming out of my mouth.

I'd be the same, I always express myself better in writing/typing than by talking, plus i'd probaly be really shy and starstruck.

Exactly why I wouldn't be too good in person is the latter half of your sentence. Although I did meet John Hiatt, great underrated singer/songwriter, and I actually didn't make a fool of myself...I think.
