aMOTION the DVD

“aMOTION.” The double-disc set is the ultimate APC fan-piece, with the CD featuring nine remixes of such APC favorites as “3 Libras,” “The Outsider,” and “Weak And Powerless,” retooled by such artists as Massive Attack, Danny Lohner, and A Perfect Circle’s own James Iha. The “aMOTION” DVD content gathers together unexpurgated versions of APC’s amazing video output, including “Judith” (directed by David “Fight Club” Fincher), “Thinking Of You,” and the sardonically funny “Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of the War Drums” clip. Also featured is a stunning live take on “The Noose,” along with a brand-new video for “Blue,” directed by Jose Perez, who won the opportunity to helm the clip via an online contest held on http://www.aperfectcircle.com. As if that weren’t enough, the “aMOTION” DVD includes the three “Blue” runner-up videos, exclusive commentary, a photo gallery, and a trio of trailers for the cult film series, Bikini Bandits.

i really want this. the remixes alone would be great to have on one cd instead of singles.

I'll wait until the price drops. I downloaded the cd and it was nothing special. And the videos looked kinda lame. I wanted a liveshow, not promos.

Ultimate APC fan-piece my ass!

The CD is ok, but nothing too special. I already own or have heard most of the remixes. But I was pleased with James Iha's 2 mixes. I like James, and was worried they might suck, but they're pretty good mixes.

Anyway overall there's some good mixes, but it's not anywhere near the quality of a NIN remix album.

the remix cd is cool and the videos are alright but the bikini bandits stuff is preddy dumb IMO. i would much rather a proper live DVD but that is still promised for the future.

Paz Lenchantin, former bassist of A Perfect Circle, has informed Clara of simplypaz.com that her remix / solo cover of The Hollow (the Constantly Consuming mix) will appear on the upcoming APC remix album
