Every time this thread gets bumped I get my hopes up that it's tour dates :(

No tour yet. But Tom's got a couple TV appearances coming up.

Tom Waits is heading to NYC this month to perform on late night television. It remains a mystery as to what gems the iconoclast will chose to perform on those stages…but he will be talking with the hosts as well as playing songs for the very first time live from his latest, Bad As Me, “the best-reviewed major album of 2011,” according to metacritic.com.

April 24th, Tom Waits to perform on Late Show With Dave Letterman
April 25th, Tom Waits to perform on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon

I was just thinking yesterday about the lack of any sort of TV appearance for the new album. This is fun news.

It's gonna be even more fun if I can get in to see the Letterman taping! :D

'Take it With Me' is probably one my favorite Waits songs ever.

I'm trying to sell this painting I did a year or so back, before I move abroad. Send me a PM if anyone's interested, and we can talk prices/shipping (if necessary) and all that.

It's 32" x 40", acrylic paint on canvas.

Anyone ever found a reasonably priced copy of Heartattack And Vine on vinyl? Saw one once at a record store in Lawrence Kansas but they wanted like $150 for it and that seemed a little steep.

Don't pay that much; you can get a copy of eBay for between $15-$25.

Here's an auction that ends in an hour and a half; no bidders yet! http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOM-WAITS-Heart ... 46040bf629

Snagged up Rain Dogs on vinyl yesterday. Which is awesome. Bringing my grand total of Waits on vinyl to 8 LPs.

Slow and steady wins the race, right?
