Amazing record. It's right up there next to Mezzanine (which is pretty much unbeatable).

Agreed. I love Mezzanine for late night chill out or a little private time with my lady. Blue Lines I like for driving to go out and hang with friends or hang at a bar or what not. Great record.

Yeah exactly, they're both very different.

Favorite songs are probably "Daydreaming" and "Unfinished Sympathy" but they're all pretty good.

Easily my favourite Massive Attack album. Musically it holds up incredibly well for it's age, although the lyrics do date it in places.

So, if I've never listened to Massive Attack before... ever... if I know virtually nothing about this band... what album is the best introductory album?

Mezzanine -> Blue Lines -> Heligoland -> Protection -> 100th Window

Yea, third song on Mezzanine.

what a haunting and dark track

feels more like Burial than MA, but its really good

cant wait to hear the remix of Paradise Circus by Burial

wonder if the whole Heligoland Burial project will come out someday
