And will be seeing them again tonight.
It was officially one of the top 3 concerts I've been to.
Paul Hester, who was the drummer in Crowded House, came onstage and played.
As did both of Neil's sons.
Fuck me, it was BRILLIANT!

Lots of Split Enz, which made me want to jump off the balcony from excitement... 6 months, dirty creature, Message To My Girl, I Got You,
and Crowded House - Weather With You, Four Seasons In One Day, Distant Sun, It’s Only Natural, Better Be Home Soon
and so on. Expect 2 encores.

Yes, she did, she started early so we missed the start of her set but I won't be making that mistake twice.

the reviews i've read of last night's gig were really good, glad you had a great time. they played one of the songs on triple m earlier and the songs sound a bit meatier live if that makes any sense, not quite as laid back as on the album.

I went to the Perth show last saturday and it was bloody excellent! AND they did i see red!!Was great-they even started play fighting between each other and had a bit of a jig!
It was a really great set as well-a good mix of old and new.

AND GUESS WHAT!!!
During the second song, Missy Higgins came from the back of the stage and sat next to me in the crowd! I dont really think anyone else noticed and i didnt have a pen on me so i just smiled at her and enjoyed the finn brothers. I will admit that i did sent a few text messages though, doing the whole "guess whos sitting next to me right now..." thing!!
She stayed for almost the whole set but she didnt sing along or clap and the end of each song. mainly just watched and drank her water.
So that was a bit of an experience-she sounded really good live as well!

I hope everyone else has as much fun as me!!

cheers

you just need to look at the symbol under people's avatars.
for the record, i'm a girl who says cheers all the time. but not so often to have it become a catch-phrase.
