Just getting into Tom Waits as of recently and i'm going to the record store to pick up some albums, any Tom Waits recomondations? i only already have Real Gone

Rain Dogs and Alice are the two I own, both of them are pretty good




Rod Stewart covered a song off Rain Dogs called Downtown Train :oops:

anyone know what Tom Waits song was on Beavis and Butthead where he was in a cheap halloween devils costume riding on a kids rocking horse playing a ukelele out in the woods? and what album that is from

yo Tom Waits is truly on top of the musical food chain!

Rain Dog &Alice are great,but I would also recommend the underrated
Franks Wild Years.

so did Patty Smyth.But Waits singing it is best.

another good song about trains-"The Train Song".A great tear jerker.

small change, closing time, swordfishtrombones, alice and blood money are all great ones and some of my favorites. i actually just purchased franks wild years today to add to my collection which i suspect will be very good as well
