In 15 years what bands do you think will still be around?

Dream Theater --- (who I feel will finally get recognized more for their true genius by then)

Pearl Jam --- (what else are they gonna do?)

The Rolling Stones --- (cockroaches can survive nuclear winter)

I would imagine most of the Stones will be dead 15 years from now. Keith Richards already looks dead. . .

I think Incubus will still be around in 15 years. They have proven their ability to adapt and grow.

i havent seen any evidence yet.
i also dont think pearl jam will be around in 15 years at least not like they are today. maybe we'll see the solo album every once in-a-while or an occasionnal acoustic show. But rarely do band's in there 50's tour for the reason of anything other than money which Vedder doesnt have a big care for. i'd say pearl jam probably has about 10 years left in them. I can also see Modest Mouse still being around in 15 years since they've had an early start as a band being only teenagers in 1996 and their music continues to evolve for better and worse through each album.

i can see staind, kid rock, and nickleback around doing tours at Casinos

Dave Grohl will still be kickin' the shit out of drumkits everywhere.

And it's unlikely, but how fucking cool would it be to see QOTSA rockin' out in their 50's?

I think Pj will still be around, though probably not in the same capacity as today. We may see a few benefit gigs/acoustic shows but theyll be in their 50s then lol. As for incubus i think they will break up within the next 5 years and well see at least 6 different Incu-related bands by then.
I think very few bands today have that longevity.

Vedder doesn't care about money? Yeah dude, that's why he's a professional musician.

yes, compared to the Average rock star who wants 9 big screen TV's, 3 houses in 3 different continents, a 25 car Porsche collection, and a bowling alley in their living room, Eddie Vedder doesn't care about money.

He does care about money, though. Jesus Christ, everyone does.

Yes he did.

If you think Eddie Vedder doesn't care about money, you're the most naive person on this planet.

It's easy for someone not to care about money when they have so much that they'll never have to worry about going broke.

it's hard to say who's gonna still be around in 15,i say PJ's broke up,Ed's recording and touring, doing solo accoustic sets,
Soundgarden will be doing a reunion tour,The who will release their greatest hits for the 28th time, axl rose will be preparing to release chinese democracy, and he'll say"it's really coming out this year,i promise"
and as for the rest of the band, mike will join ed for a few accoustic sets, and jeff and stone will be retired,
oh and i'll probably still be drywalling :?
