Anyone else just adore this album?

I've never heard the album, but I love the version from Anthology 3.

Man that album is superb. All the material on that album was stuff The Beatles had rejected.

Shit, if they could reject material like that then they can't have been too bad as songwriters...

One of the most brilliant works of all time; everyone (here) should own this and make an effort to listen to it at least twice a year (the passing from summer to autumn and again at the passing of autumn to winter, minimally).

I have it on vinyl. It's cool. My Sweet Lord was the first popular Krishna Conscious song ever.

yes, this album is such a sweet set of music. it also has the distinction of being the best music bargain i have ever purchased. i bought the entire album, both discs, fully packaged just like new...for $1.50 at a cd warehouse that was going out of business.

i just love "isn't it a pity" and "if not for you"

ooh, I wish I had it on vinyl.

It took me ages to get this. It costs about $50 here for some reason, and I refused to pay that much. But I knew it was going to be amazing, one of the best albums I'll ever have, so I almost paid it anyway. But I ended up getting it from Amazon. Awhile ago now. It's just so great. And my favourite Beatle's songs are almost all written by George.
I love my sweet lord, isn't it a pity, what is life, beware of darkness and all things must pass the most.

Amazing collection of work, absolutely. The set is sitting two feet away from my keyboard as I type this....simply brilliant. I just put disc two in the player so that it's the "hold" music for our customers.

Have you heard Johnette Napolitano's version of "Beware of Darkness" (Concrete Blonde)? It will send chills up and down your spine and make you cry (with a sorrowful smile). It's amazing.

It's a great album. 8) I would even love it without Eric Clapton's contributions.

"What is Life" and "Art of Dying" are some of the greatest songs he ever wrote.
