I wonder why it became cool for underground bands to cover pop hits? I'm not complaining, since regardless of the mocking response they illicite many hits are really, really good. I'm just amused.

"interesting" song. not bad actually. speaking of britney spears covers, Travis does a really awesome version of Hit Me Baby One More Time. I rather enjoy it.

This concerns me because this could mean that deep down inside, her songs arent that bad, and if britney were packaged differently she might appeal to a different style....

Exactly. Maybe she has a couple of good songs because she has a decent songwriter or something.
