Very nice tune, weird that it wasn't included on the Earth Division EP

Just saw these guys for the first time. I know this is a very Jack Black kind of thing to say, but they totes melted my face. No Xmas Steps, but it was a fantastic show. Too many great moments to choose from (including May Nothing But Happiness Come Through Your Door and Ex-Cowboy from Come On Die Young) but Mogwai Fear Satan may have been the absolute best. Batcat was amazing was well.

And yeah, they're fucking loud.

Yeah I got to see Mogwai Fear Satan too and I definitely lost my mind a bit during it. One of the highlights of my short life for sure.

Been meaning to stop in the Mogwai thread for a while now. I fucking love this band. I met Stuart Braithwaite at the merch table before a show at a tiny Tempe, AZ bar and he was crazy nice.
Mogwai is my running band. They have seen me through many tough times at the end of ultras.

Anybody who hasn't seen the short Vincent Moon docs can see "Adelia, I Want to Love"
Here:

and "Burning"
Here:

Also if you haven't seen The Recording of Mr Beast/A Film I Was Pure In, you should check that out. It's cool to see inside the Castle of Doom and the band dynamics.

My studio album ranking:
Happy Songs for Happy People
Mr Beast
The Hawk Is Howling
Young Team
Come On Die Young
Rock Action
Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will

I think when it was packaged with Mr Beast in a special edition, it was called "The Recording of Mr Beast."
But it's also called "A Film I Was Pure In."

I've never heard any of their stuff. Of course, I'll check out some YouTube videos when I get home. But I'm more of a front to back album kinda guy.

Which album would you recommend a novice start with?

"Young Team" is pretty much a classic. I would say there or "Happy Songs for Happy People" would be a good start. "Mr Beast" is also pretty solid from start to finish.
