Just got this album, and it is fucking wicked. Kicks off with Break on Through cover lol. Insane solos by Ribot amongst a really fun record.

Also, listen to the fuzzed out Sabbath-esque monster riff on Midost and try not to feel pretty good.

This album has some redone songs from his previous album/ep (not sure what it was). Midost has a similar structure, but it is heavy as fuck now with that god damn riff.

i haven't really gotten into this record yet, but i haven't really been in the kind of mood that seems suited for it. i have no doubts it'll hit me at some point, except maybe that 4th song, what the fuck is that ribot? please don't make songs built around lyrics.

This album has some amazing guitar solos. Ribot is the king.

how would you rank it in comparison to ribot's other albums?

I think it's up there with his best. The reinterpretations of Midost and Party Intellectuals are amazing. Neat Doors cover. Tons of jamming/solos.

The new Midost is worth it for the dl. Fucking gigantic riff.

This album might be one of the most breathtaking and interesting things I've heard in a long time. So much going on from track to track. A true adventure to listen to.

Yup. Thanks Jorge. This album feels a lot like a venn diagram of our tastes.
