No Sonic Youth or Air, who had the best albums of this year.

Bad list.

Nice to see R.E.M. getting some recognition.

8)

I will happily say that I own many of those records, and enjoy all of them. Insult away, my friends.

Best of the year? No...but albums from the likes of The Streets and Kelis were really fun. I dig em. I'd rather put Nick Cave or Tom Waits's offerings in, but it's all good.

That list borders on very good and a complete failure. You have The Arcade Fire, Wilco, Interpol, Green Day, FF, Modest Mouse, Brian Wilson, Elliot Smith and then on the other end you have Jimmy Buffet, Elton John, Aerosmith, Jimmy Eat World, and Eminem.

Once again, this list is useless without Talkie Walkie and Sonic Nurse.
