I had a better post regarding this work, but it disappeared.
I'm more "punk" than anything, and I'm finding that while this disc get's filed under "metal", it has a lot of punk to it.
Anyone else enjoying this release?

PS: I got it specifically because of Grohl's involvement, I haven't checked the CD insert yet to see who is drumming on what, but I'm defiately enjoying the drum work enough to overlook some of the lyrical styles not to my regular taste.

I thought about checking out a few of their songs, including some by The Eagles of Death Metal, just never got around to actually remebering or doing it.

So apparently i completely missed this record being released. I remember reading about it years ago and assumed that it got shelfed or something until my buddy started talking about it the other day.
Anyways, i'm rather enjoying it. The song with Max is fucking awesome, and i love that he got the guy from DRI to sing.

Kim Thayil's solo on Sweet Dreams is awesome.
