there's a lot of naysayers on this board, but i think they're a great band...
full collapse was amazing from beginning to end... i also like war all the time, but not as much as full collapse...
live, they're hit or miss...
i saw them at the beginning of a tour once and they sounded great, and i saw them towards the end of a tour and you could tell that Geoff's vocals were struggling...

The are a great band. Full Collapse is one hell of a record. I was glad to hear they're taking a break after all the rumors of a break up. Hopefully they'll come back and put out something equally as good as Full Collapse. War all the time is great as well, but i havnt listend to it in a few months. Maybe I'll do that sometime soon.

saw them open for deftones along with thrice and they played an extremely short short set which pissed me off. i don't have any of the albums, but i enjoy that song Understanding in a Car Crash

I really like Thursday. Geoff's singing is an aquired taste, but it manages to hit a certain emotional note in me. Full Collapse had the biggest impact on me, but War was really solid as well. I look forward to their next album.

ya, what the hell was that all about... thrice played for like 45 mins to an hour and then thursday came and played 20 mins...
but like i said above, i think it may have been b/c they had been touring straight for a long time and i don't think his voice could handle more than that 20 mins... at least at the one i went to

I dig thursday. When I bought War all the Time and Full Collapse, they were on almost nonstop for months

havent listened to them in a while, but I think it is time to change that soon. All three of their records are amazing. Cant wait for their next one

see, i thought that full collapse had the best individual songs, that is to say that no song from war all the time could stand up against any song on full collapse.
but for an album as a whole, i just thought war all the time was better, it seemed to flow better somehow
