Just got back from seeing Stone Sour play the State Theater In Detroit. I think this was probably the 5th or 6th time I've seen them live and always thought the were real solid live. Tonight they, along with the crowd, were on fire.

Hmm, I actually have a ticket for the Jagermeister stop in NYC this week and was thinking of giving it away. I've only listened to a bit of their stuff and haven't been especially impressed by it. What makes them so good live ?

You should go. Musically they were on the top of their game. They also had the crowd way into it. One of the best crowds I've seen in a while. The new songs sound really good in a live, more raw, setting.
