It's amazing actually. My favorite Pete Townshend album along with Who Came First. Although I'm digging the hell out of Psychoderelict and Lifehouse Chronicles lately. He's amazing. I actually think the new Who album would be better suited to him solo than with the band though I can't complain about it with the band really.

I think I get what you mean. How long have you had the album? Have you heard other Pete solo material?

Oh man. I got it from the beginning, but once you do it's off the charts good. Pete is really a genius to me. Enjoy the ride. I recently got all my cds out again, and I'm listening to Pete so much this week it's insane but a fun ride. It is also propagated by my getting a ticket for The Who March 22 show. 8)

What's your favorite song on Chinese Eyes...?

I think that All the Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes is one of Pete's very best moments ever. Incredible, incredible songs. Slit Skirts is probably one of my most listened to songs ever.

as of right now, i really like all of them, but like McParadigm said, Slit Skirt really is a gem.

where is that show you're going to? I saw them November last year in Ft. Lauderdale, and they're playing there again i think next month. I'm not going again though, ticket prices are through the roof, and with the exception of maybe one or two songs i'm probably going to get the same setlist anyway. On the other hand i most likely WOULD go if i had more money to spent....

It's definitely one of his greatest achievements musically. Slit Skirts is excellent. I like it a lot.

Here is a youtube video of the song. I actually haven't heard this one yet and can't listen to it right now.

 Great answer. I think my fave song on the album is Somebody Saved Me, but all are great without a doubt.

It will be over spring break, and I'll be in my hometown. So I'm going to the Little Rock show about 4 hours away. It's the closest to me and at a time I can go. I actually have a friend who was kind enough to buy it, and I have to pay her back over the next two months. I wish I was front row, but just seeing The Who will be amazing enough.

If you have the money I would say go without a doubt, but I know how it is to be low on cash since I am all the time nowadays.

I can't believe he played Greyhound Girl by request in Switzerland. I wish I could request a song!
