Nice! I think Days of the New are underrated as a whole. I think it's the red album that my friend burned for me and it's one of my fav albums. Days of the New rock!

BTW Clubber, I enjoyed your Drinking thread, because, well, I do the same thing. I play the guitar alot and it just seems right to have a few beers when doing so, and a couple rips off the green, ya know what i mean? I answered yes to two of the ?? on the tests by Dr. Buttfuck, so i guess according to him, i'm likely to be an alchi. Actually, i might go home and a set up a playlist with Gish and some Days of the New and just get annihilated tonight in honor of that thread!

good luck man. i suck at guitar but most of the songs from Gish seem hard to play. And Travis meeks has some strange tunings that make it virtually impossible for me to play his songs.

Point being? Denying Siamese Dream its place as one of the best albums of the 90s by dismissing it as "billy corgan's ego" is completely and utterly ignorant.

There's a difference between egotism and not living up to your own hype. If ego leads to bad music, you must not like Led Zeppelin, the Stones, Pink Floyd, and countless other bands.

Siamese Dream is definitely the best pumpkins album but Gish is a close second. The drum work on Gish is the best of any of the pumpkins albums IMO.

I honestly can't stand much SP besides this album and some of Siamese Dream. Aside from the ego, Billy Corgan's voice sucks donkey balls, to my ears. Especially on such whiners as "Tonight, Tonight."
