I picked up Z last night. I've only listened to the first 7 tracks so far, and of those I thought 3 of them stood out as good.

Have you guys seen this band live? I saw them last night and HOLY SHIT they were incredible. One of the best live acts i have seen. THey remind me a lot of early pearl jam as far ast he passion and energy they bring to their performance. Lots of headbanging and jamming and just overall energy. I was REALLY impressed with the live show. The new songs sound great live. The lead singer has an amazing voice. I have Z and It still Moves and i'm buying all their albums this weekend.

If you are even a minor fan of these guys and they come near you PLEASE PLEASE go see their live show. It is fucking awesome.

I almost want to travel to Nashville tonight to see them again

these guys will melt your face off in concert

i just listened to Z for the first time. i can already tell that it will need a few listens for it to really grab me. honestly, It Still Moves didn't grab me right away either. Beat for you, gideon, knot comes loose, and Dondonte really stood out though.

I just got back from listening to Z in my car.

I've listened to it twice now, and just as most good music does, it gets better with each listen. I've pegged 7 tracks as standouts. Good stuff.

I just picked up my copy of "Z".....3 songs down and it's beautiful...

I LOVE "It still moves"...its one of my favourite albums till date....can't wait to see them live in New York City on Oct 18 :D

The only thing I hated about this CD is the software with agreement and no-copy thingy and blah blah blah...fuckin BMG has installed an asshole software to play this CD....

A few thoughts so far.

Great songs: It Beats For You, Gideon, Off The Record, Anytime, Lay Low.

My favs so far are Gideon and Anytime.

Wordless Chorus sounds like 1970's soul. Totally unexpected by me, but I like it.

Off the record has a good hook and is probably the most "radio-friendly" song on the cd. Also, the mellow jam that lasts a few minutes at the end reminds me a lot of Pink Floyd circa "Wish You Were Here." Great tune.

Into the Woods is just horrible... I can't even listen to it.

Overall, I like "It Still Moves" better, but this is a real solid record.
