Did a search and didn't find anything about him on here. Didn't know if anyone was a fan of him. I like him a lot, he has a nice night time sound to me that is a bit different than the stuff that I usually listen to. I love the album "Redemption's Sun" and the title track is just amazing. I suggest his stuff to people who like stuff like Peter Gabriel's world music stuff or (for some odd reason) people fans of David Byrne.

I figured there would be a thread about him, but I also figured that people would be talking about him :?

The only song I ever heard was "Can't Exist," which I think is pretty good. Can anyone recommend a starting point or does no one give a shit about this asshole?

from the last album i loved black lexus, the title track - nuclear daydream.

mercedes is great song, exhausted, a smile that explodes, leave us alone, even tho, invisible hands, in the sun, speed of light, honey and the moon, last train to ithica

Joseph's best work imo (in order):

Come To Where I'm From
Redemption's Son
Our Shadows Will Remain
Big City Secrets (this and the above 3 are awfully close)
Nuclear Daydream

Is this thread all I can find on here?

Anyway, I noticed this guy is playing here early March and I randomly downloaded a torrent with a best-of someone made and this shit is pretty good, I'd say. What do RM'ers think?

all of his records up until Our Shadows Will Remain are stellar... everything since has been hit or miss, with Let's Just Be being completely awful.
if i had to pick a favorite, i'd say Redemption's Son, Our Shadows Will Remain, and Come To Where I'm From

he's really great live, but i prefer him solo w/ his looping to his newer rock band.
