i've seen a lot of musicians this year that i love (jonathan richman, destroyer, jeff mangum) but their performances were totally flat compared to the dirty three last night. it was depraved, it was spiritual, it was fun. i didn't know warren ellis was so charismatic. his explications of the songs really are incredible, to say nothing of the actual songs. i looked at where else they are playing, and one city is vancouver.

So Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds are touring apparently. Yes...I am pumped. I got tickets one minute after the pre-sale started.

The first single from the new album is alright.

Haven't even heard it yet. New Nick Cave & QotSA in the same year...that's a lot of bombast. My eardrums will be thoroughly worked out.
