I thought you had read it. I finished it a month or two ago, it really makes for some interesting insight to his songs. What a fucked up family.
i only knew the stories from record reviews, articles and songs... this is a great insight. i'm like 160 pages in now. i'll be done within a day or two. i can see why i like his music. he sounds just like i do.

haha, nothing wrong with that. the songs he wrote from the POV of his sister break my heart like 3 speed, elizabeth on the bathroom floor, last stop in this town, my decent into madness, and electro shock blues. its kinda like how every song john lennon wrote about his mother is one of his best. daskbf;dsbfo;asbdfoiabnsdofinasoidnfoiadsnfoadsf <--- that was me not being able to express this albums greatness in words.

Taking flight and you could be Here tomorrow Taking flight, well, you could get Here tonight
I forgot I like this one quite a bit. I like seeing what you like and then going back and listening a few times. A lot of Eels songs are definitely growers.

yeah, its easy to put off eels tunes as simple, with dumb lyrics. but once you realize what's really going on, you realize that the songs are so packed and rich. they have a shitload of heart too, which i require from my music.
