YES. It's about time his album came out. This is a little different than what I'm used to hearing from him, but I enjoyed it.

Have you heard the new Justice track in the new adidas commercial? It sounds promising.

I'm excited for the new Bibio that comes out next week. This one reminds me of Chromeo a bit.

Also like this one a lot: http://hypem.com/#!/item/19fsf/Bibio+-+Anything+New

Remember chillwave O.G. Ernest Greene's Washed Out project? Been a bit since we've heard anything from him, huh? Well, wait no longer: Greene's signed to Sub Pop, who will release his debut LP, Within and Without, on July 12. UPDATE: Sub Pop will release the album in the U.S. Weird World/Domino will release the album internationally.

The album was recorded with Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Deerhunter), and a U.S. tour is in the works as well. Check out the LP's tracklist below. You might notice that one of the tracks on there, "You and I", looks familiar; a song by the same title was released by Washed Out and Chairlift's Caroline Polachek for last year's Adult Swim singles series, and that song is available for you to listen to above.

Within and Without:

01. Eyes Be Closed
02. Echoes
03. Amor Fati
04. Soft
05. Far Away
06. Before
07. You and I
08. Within and Without
09. A Dedication

Also on the chillwave front...

Here’s our first glimpse at Neon Indian’s forthcoming LP, in the form of this short video shot in Helsinki — where Alan Palomo recorded most of the album — by Austin filmmaker Sean Lopez. Featuring an excerpt from “Heart: Attack,” the first of a “three-part instrumental movement” that appears on the new record:

Neon Indian’s new full-length is due sometime in the Fall of 2011. The band also has a number of shows planned in the coming months.

I love YACHT. They're playing in Philly tomorrow night but I'm not going since I have tickets for Smith Westerns instead. I caught the stream of their Coachella set and I think I'm going to be missing out on a ridiculously good show.

Anyone here familiar with Mustard Pimp? They opened for local Columbus dj heroes roeVy here at the Newport last night and he absolutely killed it. Good shit.
