the chorus is just as important as the verse. an awesome chorus makes the song so much better.

decent verses, awesome chorus = great song

I find that most songs with a killer groove in the verse are ruined by a poorly thought out chorus.

i'm referring to howthe chorus is almost always designed to be grander in music than the rest of the songs, and the lyrics within are generally predictable rhymes.
