Ten years ago when the pop princesses and boy band exploded, we all thought it was the gayest shit ever in music.
But over time, we usually begin to appreciate how good some of their music were. And I'll admit I have a few mp3's from those artists in iTunes and I'm proud to say I listen it sometimes. I can honestly that the pop music in the late 90's were most definitely 5 times better than that Korn, Limp Bizkit wigger shit!
Who's with me on this? This shit is good and catchy, am I right?
My Top Ten Boy Band/Pop Princesses Tunes from the late 90's: 1: - One of the greatest songs ever made! 2: - Best song from the boy bands. 3: - I know they want babies. 4: - I'm coming X-tina 5: - Greatest Latin-Pop collabo ever! 6: - This is where JT got his sexy. 7: - Very deep and touching. 8: - I want N*Sync back! 9: - The song that started it all. 10: - I still have a crush on to Mandy, even though your music career was unsuccessful.
P.S. I hope everyone will take this thread seriously because I think this music is seriously good. Again, just another episode of music taste where I'm a decade late on the popularity. As much as I like to see Faith No More reunite, I also would like to see BSB and NSynce reunite as well.

i'm pretty sure that, if i had lived in the 60s, many girls groups and poppy boys band would have turned me off big time but today i truly enjoy many of the arrangements, the simple lyrics and their inherent naiveté, and the plain good songwriting. some kitsh pop songs from the 80s have grown on me as well but this late 90s pop wave has yet to do anything for me. maybe i hate these bands/artists because they're fairly recent fashion symbols, or maybe it's because i shit in the face of pop radio and mtv because since this boys or girls bands are in vogue, there's more things dumped in these mediums that are totally unrelated to music, or maybe it's because a good deal of this generational trend threw away all the maturity pop or rock music acquired regarding women's affirmation, social awareness, et cetera into a cultural no-mans'-land for the uneducated music fans. well...i hate them, although i can acknowledge that Xtina has a potent voice and that Justin Timberlake is an good musician...i'm fucking bitter that some kids think this crap is the best thing from the latest years - mickey mouse club , give me a fucking break.

Too much thinking, bro!
Cheesy-Pop music, you just got to listen and groove. Not much to to it.

i'm probably too inhibited to appreciate this kind of music as a genre. i don't dance, i don't hang out in places where this stuff makes all the glitter nation go whoo-hoo because i think they're a bunch of superficial idiots. if we're talking about music, it's one thing. if we're talking about infomercials with a beat set to them, it's another thing. but believe me, i'm really open when it comes to music - this stuff is a lame excuse for music.
also: videos actually don't better a shitty song.
p.s.: sorry to rain on your parade, i'm just thinking that some songs out of this trend are actually good but this genre is a sad joke.
