It's a '77-era bootleg. I forget what show exactly, but obviously one in CA (I do remember it's not Oakland). My lady friend found a few of these at this record store by where she lives and picked up a couple for me. I think this one was only 8 bucks, but it does have some damage on both discs. It was still more than listenable, though. |

That Dethklok LP looks awesome. Didn't know it existed. Too bad the music isn't that great... Actually I really dig Murmaider or Mermurder or whatever the fuck it is called. I just expected better drums with Gene Hoglan playing. |

Yeah, I think it's a pretty kick ass set myself. The description on the Williams St. site where I bought it from made it seem only the label was designed, so it was a pleasant surprise to see all the art on the disc. Definitely something really cool to have. |

Here's what we've got tonight.... Rolling Stones - Some Girls Doors - Morrison Hotel The Who - Face Dances p.s. Managed to find a used vinyl website selling Use Your Illusion 1 and 2 for $10 each. They even had a Vitalogy kicking around for $12 so I grabbed that too. |

Last night ended up being a PJ-vinyl fest, but only select sides... Vitalogy - Side A Ten - Side B Avocado - 1st LP Then just for good measure I went for some DM... Songs of Faith and Devotion Violator On a final note, I was cleaning up the basement this weekend and decided it was time to go through my boxes of CDs that have been packaged up since moving last fall. In the end I've decided to sell off my entire CD collection. I'll keep the collectible ones like rare singles or official bootlegs, but there's just no reason to have the entire Zeppelin catalog on vinyl, CD and mp3. |

I received my copies of Use Your Illusions 1 & 2 yesterday so I had to put them on right away. I bought them from a 2nd hand online store and the guy claimed there was blemishes, but they seemed flawless to me. Got them for $10 each which is pretty good if you see some of the eBay prices for the UYI albums. Certainly not holding my breath for a Chinese Democracy vinyl release!!! |

Anyone spinning some new vinyl lately? I just got a new copy of the Beatles Revolver. You can pretty much find it for the same price brand new (reissue) as you can used. I paid $25 for a new copy and was almost going to buy it for $19 used. WTF? |
