The Red Album really grew on me over time but I still fucking hate Make Believe.

Anyway, Weezer's 7th album is coming out soon and the name couldn't be better:

Hopefully it's better than the last one. That was horrid.

beverly hills was an absolutely atrocious song.

Rivers hasn't put out a great record in almost a decade. If he's still keen on letting the other band members sing, this won't be any good. And the simple fact that he wrote this album with hired singer/songwriters like Butch Walker shows that he's either running low on ideas and/or desperate to write another Pinkerton.

i'll check it out. red was OK...i like the first half plus the last song. i really like the greatest man who ever lived.

I think everyone just has to accept that weezer was a two album fluke, and stop enabling them.

I'll always check out weezer albums, though I don't expect much of them since Make Believe. I only dug one song from that. I'm pretty sure Ozma stole River's powers though.

That has got to be one of the most awesome album covers ever.

Weezer will always be cool in my book. I loved the Red album. Make Believe is the only one that isn't really that good. Raditude is the best name for an album ever. Can't wait.

Maladroit is around 80% absolutely fantastic, Red around 50% or so.

Still not bad odds, I say.

I think Maladroit is a damn fine record.

If Maladroit ended after Fall Together, it'd be the best Weezer album to me. Those last few songs really drag it down a notch but it's all killer material up til then.

blue album is all like self-depricating regular rock and roll stuff and whatnot

just get back to being not cool and writing good songs

I think first and foremost Weezer has always been about having fun, and not really caring too much about what people think. A lot of people are too stiff and don't quite know how to have fun themselves sometimes, therefore they don't understand. And that which they don't understand, they automatically dislike.
That to me is not the right kind of raditude to have in life.
