Can't believe In the Fade is a decade old. I'd love some guest vocals besides Homme on this one, not cuz I don't love his smooth vocals but because I love the way the non-Homme vocals on past records helped shape them. Plus Mark fucking Lanegan.

In the Fade is pretty much my favorite QOTSA track ever. There is a haunting feeling about that bass and Mark first lines... i love it.

That bass line can change your life.

Well, then...that's interesting. I haven't heard anything about Joey leaving, so I'm wondering if this is just a guest spot, or what. Either way, it's always nice to see Dave behind a drumkit.

im not happy with these news...Joey is a monster...and even if Dave is a great drummer i want Joey to play the new songs... anyway, im thrilled with the notion of a new QOTSA record.

Not to take anything away from Joey, but this is Dave "Song for the dead" Grohl we're talking about. This is awesome news and hopefully bodes well for TCV as well.

Yeah, sorry to see Joey go but at least Dave was available to step in.
