NUMBER 1 HEAVY COMPLEX

I dunno something fresh and good quality
maybe related to or further out there than

jesus lizard
tomahawk
melvins
system of a down
tool
made out of babies
kyuss
goatsnake

blah i dunno i just want some good heavy or aggressive shit but as you can see I'm not into harsh vocals really, melodic?

REQUEST NUMBER 2

want some good jazz music, on the experimental and perhaps etheral side of things

REQUEST NUMBER 3

also spacey videogame music that reminds you of ratchet and clank and or wellwater conspiracy brotherhood of the electric

alien and cartoonish are more words to describe this maybe

check out marco benevento's solo work. though its a mix of jazz and rock, so not sure if he's exactly what you're looking for.

Tallons - Hollow (some other word)

It's sort of mathy post rock. A bit heavier than typical.

maybe you'll find something in here, who knows. some of these have harsh vocals i guess but not anything too extreme.

I've been listening to Concert from them the past couple days. Great shit. Heavy too, but perhaps not in the typical musical mmeaning of the word.

Defintely Intronaut (MF posted a cut from their newest one "Valley of Smoke", which is a great record).

I saw no mention of Mastodon--that should be a no brainer, especially "Crack the Skye" if you want something without harsh vocals.

One that I've been really enjoying lately is "Through the Eyes of Heathens" from Dozer. Rockin' stuff, with a stoner vibe, ala Kyuss and Melvins, with some definite Soundgarden influence for good measure.

Another one: US Christmas - "Run Thick in the Night". Really good stuff, mostly down tempo.
