This is pretty good. Much better than The Secret Migration but really thats not saying much. The welcome return of the weird.

MY first impression: big jumbled mess with no good songs. I don't know, I'll have to listen more.

All the best Mercury Rev albums sound that way at first.

edit: thinking again, the problem with the album may be the way that the vocals were mixed with the music

Never got into this one, despite liking the previous 3 albums. The early stuff is a little too out there for me.

Vermillion is one of my favourite pop songs. I can't believe they didn't use it to promote The Secret Migration.
