heard about this guy a few months ago when he signed to Animal Collective's label, but didn't hear any of his stuff until just now (after i saw he was coming to Minneapolis w/ AA Bondy), this record is really fun:



comes out on February 3rd, but you can hear it now thanks to the interlinks.

check out "You Can't Force A Dance Party" in particular. very reminiscent of Stephen Merritt & Jens Lekman
