The Dark Saga is pretty good. I really like I Died For You. It's my favorite song on the album without a doubt.

Any Iced Earth fans here?

My friends from high school used to love this stuff. It's pretty bad ass, that's for sure.

I really like this album. I mean it's nothing something you would find me listening to all the time, except for a few songs, but it's good. I think I listened to I Died For You 20 times last night.

I wiped all the Iced Earth from my hard drive about a year ago because I never, and I mean ever listened to it. My appreciation of Power metal (the sub genre of metal that IE bear the standard for (with blind guardian)) is tenuous at best. That said, I've enjoyed a few Iced Earth songs before, and it is pretty cool to see you listening to some of the heavier stuff, melodic as IE are.

Also, they've a fine guitarist.

Then again, name a powermetal band who doesn't

Yeah, the guitarist is really good. I like that it's more melodic but under the surface is thrash. Kind of cool.

I used to listen to these guys a lot, then my interest dwindled when Matt Barlow left. Now that he has returned to the band I might go back and give them another shot.

Matt Barlow era Iced Earth is some of the best that metal has to offer. I like "A Question of Heaven" a lot.

Check out Burnt Offerings and Something Wicked This Way Comes if you haven't yet. good stuff.

Just started listening to Something Wicked This Way Comes. Very good. I like it better than The Dark Saga although I Died For You is still my favorite song that I've heard.

I do quite like Something Wicked. Burnt Offerings is different though. It's much heavier and really dark. good stuff though
