I learned about this yesterday - this guy was a monument/symbol of the good french music that came out of the last 30-odd years. A truly great loss.

Of course the lyrics in his songs are very important but the music, his voice and his overall attitude are just as crucial to the shadow he casts. RIP.

Yup, very sad, very sad.

Sad day, he had amazing musicians with him on stage and his music and lyrics are really great considering the abysmal quality of french pop.
