watching this video (which makes me cringe at how far DLR has sunk) reminds me of the direction Chris Cornell is heading - I can totally see him playing old Soundgarden classics to Bluegrass...playing at a sub-par Casino near you!

Rod Stewart has as much good stuff in his catalogue as Chris Cornell. It should also be said that Rod Stewart was successful at completely selling out.

Rod has been selling out for so long, I almost wonder if the selling out is relevant any more. Most of his success came after he started selling his integrity, by the inch, and he's stuck around. Plus, at least his selling out included covering Tom Waits and giving the guy some cash.
