so, how many tassies are you guys going to bring to RM?
blink 182 is pretty much already forgotten about..
the problem with having an mtv/teeny bopper-like fanbase, is that those arent the people that keep a bands music alive.. its the underground/hardcore fans, & when you're just a band thats fits into a trend & you're corporate, once the trend is gone, the teeny boppers move onto the next big thing & the band doesnt have any credibility left. So basically everyone forgets about them
dude ranch....stupid, fun music
enema....mildly less stupid, fun music...but still stupid
take off....mostly, but not totally stupid, fun music
when you have a guitar in your hands, theyre songs go over real well cuz everyone in the room knows them, so you can have a lot of fun with them...

love their stuff. it's nothing groundbreaking but i list them under the list of bands that i listen to when i just want to have a good time. they have some great stuff to sing along with and tap your foot to.
the last album of theirs was really good. they explored the more serious side of things and i love it.

I actually liked that last album they put out. It wasn't like the teeny bop punk they were known for.
i would prefer another album of lame jokes than a pile of drivel they laid down in "i miss you"
but i must admit, feelin this has one of the coolest harmony/counter melodies i have ever heard. its goddamn cool
