I think I'm ready for them. Someone point me in the right direction. I bought Some Enchanted Evening today on a whim and the songs are awesome. I didn't know it was a live album though, otherwise, I'd probably have balked.

I don't know anything about them, other than that one song they did. I always hated it until recently when it suddenly hit me hard in the face how great it was.

Secret Treaties is incredible. You might have to give it a few spins before it sinks in...I did...but it's on my top 100.

In spite of their "70's rock" reputation, they're probably close to being the most eccentric act in my collection.

Oooohhh nnnnoooo, there goes Tokyo

Pretty overlooked 70's band for sure, they had some good stuff.

"Take Me Away" from Revolution by Night is one of the best songs no one has ever heard. The rest of that album is kind of lame, though. Their first album (Blue Oyster Cult) is their best, I'd say. Buck Dharma is a really underrated guitarist.

I prefer Secret Treaties, but that first record is pretty badass. She's As Beautiful As a Foot

grabbing Secret Treaties right now.

I mean, I know these guys are essentially just a bunch of burnouts who like playing if riffs and right songs about science fiction. I frankly don't think I care. The solos are pure wank but I am down with that too. They are just prog enough, and just blues enough. I have a feeling they may be one of those bands who go unappreciated despite having a few megasingles (see Deep Purple and the wonderful Machine Head

Saw em live a couple of times. Really good band. Unfortunately one of the times, I stood too close to the PA speaker on the left side of the stage....and couldn't hear out of my left ear for two days afterwards. Everything cleared up though.

Terribly underrated classic rock band... i have been extremely addicted to their albums lately... particularly Spectres. Share thoughts.

There's no way in hell I haven't already made a thread on this band. Secret Treaties, Spectres, Fire of Unknown Origins...all classic records.
