Thought I would pass this along as the "Temple of The Mule" 2nd set might be especially of interest. I just grabbed it from bt.etree.org and it sounds bad-ass so far.

Set 1:
01. Wandering Child
02. Slackjaw Jezebel
03. Thelonius Beck
04. Temporary Saint
05. Birth of a Mule
06. About to Rage
07. Brighter Days
08. Thorazine Shuffle

Set 2 - Temple of the Mule
01. Rooster (Alice in Chains)
02. Say Hello to Heaven (Temple of the Dog),
03. Black (Pearl Jam)
04. Nothing Man (Pearl Jam)
05. Indifference (Pearl Jam)
06. Fell on Black Days (Soundgarden)
07. Black Hole Sun (Soundgarden)
08. All Apologies (Nirvana)
09. Where Did You Sleep (Nirvana)
10. MIDNIGHT
11. Lithium (Nirvana)
12. About A Girl (Nirvana)
13. Hunger Strike (Temple of the Dog)

*entire second set with Pete Thorn, from Chris Cornell's band

Set 3
01. War Pigs (power trio!)
02. Afro Blue
03. Bad Little Doggie
04. Brand New Angel
05. Straight to Hell **^
06. Rockin' in the Free World! **
~encore~
07. Can't You See**

** w/ Kevin Kinney, Pete Thorn
^ w/ Danny on Trumpet

I was just about to post this. A nod to Seattle to end 2008. I can't wait to hear it. Love the War Pigs to start the 3rd set too!

Goddamn Warren Haynes never ceases to amaze me with what he can do. The guy is simply a fucking monster. Can't wait to get home and DL this...I'm thinking Where Did You Sleep.... must be fucking epic.

It's audio IGB, but the link earlier in the thread was for a 24 bit version of the files. The 16 bit version is here http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=521359

It's a good question. I usually grab 16 bit versions just because the download is quicker and, if I'm not mistaken, only the 16 bit can then be converted to .wav for burning to disc. FWIW, the 16 bit of this is pretty top notch from just listening to bits and pieces of it so far. The taper did a great job of recording it; that's the most important element in my book.

I haven't found a lot of shows on the 'noid. I'm a pretty big fan, and though I do enjoy a lot of audience pulls, I'm a sucker for a good MuleTracks gig. I was at the 27th (which kicked tremendous ass) as well as the 30th (which, subsequently also kicked major ass) and will probably buy the package as I got to catch the always funky Dumpstaphunk.
I saw the band 6 times this year, and during Saturdays show, settled nicely in the balcony, I had the realization that this is really one of those bands that just gives me pure enjoyment. I've had so much goddamn fun at some great gigs that well there really aren't words for it, obviously I suggest taking in a show or two.

This entire New Year's run was fantastic.. here's some links for y'all:

12.28 http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=521288
12.30 http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=521331
12.31 http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=521359 16bit, as aforementioned

i hate to be the one to say it, but these songs just don't sound as good as i had hoped. maybe it was a "had to be there thing" but most of them feel kind of empty to me.
