Good god. Eddie vedders tunes aside, ive always loved the musical landscapes created throughout and for this film. Absolutely beautiful. Didnt know there was an actual album of the material. Got it and its just a fantastic listen.

Sounds really good! Listened some clips from here: http://michaelbrookmusic.com/into-the-wild/

Too bad I don't have an Itunes account and it is not available on cd or lp :(

Thanks for bringing this up. Never had a chance to check out the score when the movie was in the public eye. Its been on Showtime a lot lately so my interest has been renewed.

Swimming & Horses is incredible and I also really dig the Devil Slayer bit. I remember watching the credits in the theater being amazed by that little piece.

Michael Brook has also produced a lot of artists, including Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. He produced an album for Jane Siberry called When I Was a Boy. Lately, I've been loving this album. And I don't usually listen to this kind of stuff. He plays guitar on LOVE IS EVERYTHING.
