They're huge here right now. Saw them at a festival last year. They were good. haven't checked the record yet though.

'White Blank Page', 'Roll Away Your Stone'... just incredible. The album hasn't got a dud on it, I'm buying it as soon as I can.

Yep, I'm loving that album as well. They're playing at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival this year, which is kinda why I checked them out.

I'm telling you the reviewers don't know what the fuck they're talking about. It completely escapes me why this album's being looked down on by anyone. Almost makes me want to give up on looking at reviews.

Little Lion Man?

not even close to one of the best songs on the album either. was shocked that's the track they chose in Australia/Europe, ugh.

the one song on the album i don't really love is 'I Gave You All' really... sounds too much like Dave Matthews :(

i hate that they get that comparison as it's not really that fair, but that's the only song that sounds somewhat like them (mostly just vocally)

they've got 3 EP's as well. if you've not heard them definitely check them out

Oh geez, I've only heard that "big" song of theirs (the "not your fault, but mine" one) and it's like repeated knitting needles to the ears.

Horrid...

What makes it worse is I have to listen to mainstream top-40 radio where I work and I hear it about six times a day.

I heard a song of theirs in a car today and it was beyond terrible.

Tsk, kids today.

They're from London... my brother knows them fairly well.

Their name sounds like a London butcher shop... fine by me. It works for folk music.

I did! I bought it the same day I read this thread. Haven't really gotten the chance to properly digest it but I liked it on first listen.

Nice. Get back in here when you have formed some thoughts....

Make 'em DEEP thoughts, or I'm not interested.

Edit: Actually Platy, I came back in to tell you that I thought about it, and that was a bit of a schtick post, and that I am sorry. I will be interested in whatever you have to say, whether dumb, or deep.
