I couldn't find a Mclusky or Future of the Left thread (although I must admit that the search interface baffles me), so here we go.

I'm headed to see FOTL in DC tonight. I missed Mclusky in DC around 2003 or so. I've been listening to Curses and Travels to get amped up.

Hard to pick a favorite song, but I know my wife's least favorite song features the lyrics:

Mclusky was great fun live. Saw them at a festival once which was cool because most the crowd didn't have a clue what the band looked like.

"Hey, who are those bums taking the stage? It's the band? Oh."

anyways, they kick serious ass live. Seen them twice this year and it is good time. Go up front and dance about if you can, then buy one of those octopus shirts.

Fucking awesome show. I got front and center and banged my head. The band was in a good mood and only a few people were requesting song-dicks, but otherwise they blew the doors off the place. There were probably only a few hundred in the building, but it was high energy and kick ass.
