For some reason I never have and have never really been interested in listening to this album. Just strikes me as one of those "classic" records that I just wouldn't like.

Well I don't really like punk that much, and everything I've heard from The Clash is just kind of lame. I've never been one to say something is awesome just cause it's a classic, but then again I've never heard it. Am I really missing out? And think about the type of music I like before you answer.

I don't see how to not see the appeal in The Clash, unless you like strictly pop or shoegazer or something. I mean, it's got rock, hip-hop, reggae, everything. At least give it a chance.
