Yeah, I feel like it's NIN fronted by a woman. And I guess that would be okay, but I'm not overly thrilled with her voice. But maybe Trent will sing some songs too.

I like it, but then I'm too big of a NIN fan to be fully objective. About the band name... it's taken from the first single released by Coil, a band that influenced Trent a lot and whose members have collaborated with him on various things over the years.
Admittedly, it's very similar to NIN, but Trent has indicated that it will probably go in different directions. Here are some snippets from a recent Q&A he did:
"This EP is the results of early collaboration. We were going to use all of 2010 to experiment and gestate but liked the early results and decided to share them."
"Yes, it sounds more NIN-ish than I believe it will as we progress."

My opinion of your taste just plummeted beyond my boots, Spence. I'm sure you'll be crying over that.
Or maybe not.

When I first heard of this project, like most new music.. I attempted to listen objectively.. After listening to two tracks, and almost painfully through a third, I stopped.
I appreciate Trent's music for the most part, but in all honesty, this is not something I would recommend to anyone... Mariqueen in my opinion, cannot carry a note.
If this were a case where an artist who had one more record obligation to fulfill in his/her contract, and purposely rushed it to completion, devoid of substance, etc just to cut the tie.. I could understand... but.. it's not.. It is a roaring conflaguration.
This is merely my opinion.. agree, disagree.. no matter.
I actually kind of feel sad for Trent, always have.. not sure why.. but I will always wish the best for him.

I agree, this hasn't grabbed me at all. One of the few Reznor related things I can so that about personally.
