Damn. I'm really not feeling anything on this record. There's nothing stellar like on the past records. All of these songs just seem sort of average to me. Maybe it'll grow with time, but its definitely their weakest in terms of songwriting, and I also miss their older production style. Where's the reverb?

Damnit. I'm gonna wait until the hype/initial disappointment subsides before I listen to this. Gives records a better chance in the long run.

I fucking loved many songs off of Infinite Arms, couple slow ones but I count it overall as a resounding success.

Taken out of context I like a lot of the songs on Infinite Arms. On the whole, though, there are far, far too many slow acoustic songs in a row.

It bores the living hell out of me. I've only been able to get through it maybe 4-5 times even though I really like some of the songs.

The new one is way better for me.

I was surprised, ok, it's not great or anything, but it's very solid

I really like this album. Much better than "Infinite Arms." "Shut In Tourist," "Knock, Knock" and "Everything's Gonna Be Undone" are my favorites.
