Has anyone checked out these guys? They've been a led zeppelin tribute band since 95 i think, thats longer than zeppelin where around.

Anyway, I caught their live show last saturday since I had nothing else to do, and was totally blown away by how good they were!

Ive seen my share of tribute bands, but these guys REALLY get that zep sound down right. Dude who does robert plant sounded exactly like him (well, better than post 1974 Robert Plant actually).

They've really striven to capture the zep sound live. Little nuances like jimmy's live guitar licks show up in the performance, as well as going so far as to have the bass player do the Keyboards while using the Bass Pedals for songs like Stairway and No Quarter (or an acoustic guitar and the pedals for Ten Years Gone). To sum up: it was just like seeing zep live in the 70s for the most part.

If I had a choice to see a reunited Zep for a few hundred dollars or Zoso again for 12.50...I think i'll go with Zoso (even if real Zep was the usual 60 bucks like a PJ show would be, i'd probably still go with Zoso)

they have some clips on their website, but the Robert Plant guy doesnt sound that great on those clips as i'm making him out to be, but what I heard on saturday was pretty spot on.

Only bad thing...watching fat bald 60 year old guys rock out to Stairway's solo and ending

Ive seen get the led out...i don't like them as much as Zoso. They are very good though

but Zoso are a more faithful reproduction of Zep live, with just one guitar, one bass, drummer, and singer.

Seeing Zoso do Moby Dick live was amazing...i only wish I were alive to have seen Bonzo do it

Go see Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience if it's in your area.
