Ian Anderson is a very impressive songwriter/lyricist, shockingly underrated.
Jethro Tull were at their best before they went all prog on us though, after Thick as a Brick, they kind of lost it for me. This Was, Benefit, Stand Up, Aqualung and TaaB are must-haves.

I agree... I just heard the B Side of Aqualung the other day which I hadnt heard since God knows when.

Something has been definately lost since the switch from Vinyl to CD to MP3...


albums were serious works of art back in the day...something thats been lost in electronica, 15 min of fame and whoring money-making record companies
