Anyone here have any love for this great artist? He'd be huge if GLB were starting now. 10 years before their time.

Grant-Lee Phillips is touring. Anyone going to the Dublin show? It's in Whelans. The last 5 times I've seen him, he's been amazing. Looking forward to this. I'm ready for a bit of Lone Star action...

I'm ashamed to say I've only listened to a couple of GLB albums but never listened to his solo work. Mighty Joe Moon is still one of my favorite albums of the 90's.

His 1st solo LP isn't great. The 2nd one is kinda semi-folk/semi-electornicy, which is interesting. The 3rd one is a full-on folk album (not my cuppa tea at all), his 4th is a covers LP, and the new one is OK. Nothing to match any of his Buffalo stuff though. Live, however, he's still amazing.

So, the man played the Sugar Club the other night. T'was a cracker. Too bad I'll be missing the Buffalo reunion.

I've been getting into GLB this year. Copperopolis really kicks my arse hard.

Wait a minute--is this the same guy who was the town troubadour in "Gilmore Girls?"
