Joseph Arthur is fantastic. i first saw him in '99 opening for Ben actually.

from all the songs i've heard from this project so far, it seems most like Joseph's older solo stuff (which is a good thing, as his last few records (much like Ben) have sucked).

that said, as cool as this project sounds on paper, none of the stuff i've heard so far (5-6 songs) have really done a ton for me.

yeah it's decent stuff, just not amazing considering the parties involved, which i suppose is the crux of any "super group"

Took me a while to get into the tunes, but now I fully appreciate the album.
On the first few turns it seems to lack depth, but if you're persistant you'll be amazed by the amount of detail.
I'm really happy I'm gonna see them in the Underground in Cololgne: A small venue with a capacity of 350 people with a stage that is just 3ft high.
Love it!
