What are your favorite original scores? Not interested in soundtracks that are just a bunch of rock songs thrown together. I mean actual compositions here.
A few of my favorites:
The Good, The Bad, The Ugly The Fountain Saving Private Ryan The Fellowship of the Ring
In general I really like anything by Hans Zimmer and John Williams, too. No surprise there though. Also I'm not really a movie guy so I haven't seen very many underground or even a lot of the important classic movies.

By the way, there are quite probably already threads about this, but I didn't feel like searching. Maybe there isn't a thread about just original scores though.

I really like all three LotR soundtracks. I think The Two Towers was my favorite. Pan's Labyrinth Amélie
Hmm. I thought I'd have more to contribute to this thread, but those are all that's coming to mind. I used to really like the Gladiator soundtrack but I haven't listened to it in years.
